1. Nitrile Rubber (NBR) -  286.007.360
Oil resistance: Excellent (especially resistant to mineral oil and fuel oil, the higher the acrylonitrile content, the stronger the oil resistance).
Temperature range: -30°C to +120°C (hydrogenated nitrile HNBR can be increased to 150°C).
Chemical resistance: Resistant to petroleum-based fluids, but not resistant to ketones and ester polar solvents.
Weather resistance: Poor (susceptible to ozone/UV).
Mechanical properties: High wear resistance, good elasticity.
Application: Fuel hose, oil seal, O-ring (automobile, industrial).
Disadvantages: Not resistant to high temperature oxidation and polar solvents.

2. Fluorocarbon Rubber (FKM) - 286.008.363
Oil resistance: Excellent (resistant to fuel oil, synthetic lubricants and corrosive fluids).
Temperature range: -20°C to +200°C (short-term up to 250°C).
Chemical resistance: strong acid, strong alkali, organic solvent (best overall).
Weather resistance: excellent (ozone/UV resistance).
Applications: aerospace seals, chemical equipment, high-demand automotive parts.
Disadvantages: high cost, poor low temperature performance (brittle temperature about -20°C).

3. Santoprene (TPE-S) - 286.107.354
(thermoplastic elastomer, styrene-olefin copolymer)
Oil resistance: medium (better than EPDM, but not as good as NBR).
Temperature range: -50°C to +135°C.
Chemical resistance: resistant to water, weak acids and alkalis, not resistant to long-term contact with oils.
Weather resistance: good (UV/ozone resistance).
Mechanical properties: high elasticity, injection molding (non-vulcanized rubber).
Applications: automotive sealing strips, medical devices, consumer products (flexibility + recyclable scenarios required)
Disadvantages: limited high temperature and oil resistance.

4. Neoprene (CR) - 286.099.365
Oil resistance: medium (better than natural rubber, worse than NBR).
Temperature range: -30°C to +100°C (120°C for short time).
Chemical resistance: good acid and alkali resistance and flame resistance (containing chlorine atoms).
Weather resistance: excellent (ozone/UV/weathering resistance).
Application: cable sheathing, anti-corrosion lining, outdoor seals.
Disadvantages: average oil resistance and high temperature performance.

5. EPDM - 286.098.364
Oil resistance: poor (not recommended for oily environment).
Temperature range: -50°C to +150°C (higher for short time).
Chemical resistance: resistant to water, steam, acid, alkali and polar solvents.
Weather resistance: excellent (long-term anti-aging).
Electrical insulation: excellent.
Application: automotive door and window sealing, roof waterproofing, cooling system pipes.
Disadvantages: Cannot be used in fuel contact scenarios.
